Eligibility For Membership
Procedure:
The procedure of joining International Association of Yoga is outlined as follows:
- Submission of application for joining the association with requisite documents and fees.
- Review of the application along with documents if any, by the competent authority.
- Approval through meeting minimum criteria.
- Issuing a membership certificate.
Membership Categories:
The membership of IAY is categorised into following levels:
- Founding members
- Life Membership (10 years)
- Personal membership
- Institutional membership
Who can be members?
Following can be member of IAY(International Association of Yoga)
Membership:
- Yoga Aspirants
- Yoga Teachers
- Meditation Teachers
- Yoga Therapists
- Yoga schools
- Yoga Therapy Schools
- Vedanta and Spiritual Teachers / Masters
- Colleges
- Universities
Yogi Awards:
Yoga Acharya Award: If you have completed a minimum of 5 years of teaching Yoga, then you are eligible for this award. after a short online test.
Yogi Raj Award: If you have completed a minimum of 10 years of active teaching Yoga, and possess sufficient knowledge of Yoga Philosophy, You are eligible for this award. Two awards annually are complementary.
Special Yogi Awards are conferred to eligible and experienced candidates for their devotion / dedication and services of mankind through Yoga, Meditation, Yoga therapy, and Allied Fields. IAY confer awards to Individuals or Schools in following fields:
- Yoga
- Yoga Therapy
- Meditation
- Vedanta & Spirituality
- While conferring the Awards, the panel also considers their dedication, sincerity, track records in the field of Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Meditation, Vedanta, Spirituality for the wellness of mankind.
These awards are conferred after online test and submission of the following documents:
- Resume
- Yoga Qualification
- Years of teaching and services
- Certificates scanned copies
- Any outstanding achievements
- After filling up the application, send the attachments
